Summer’s last hurrah–at least for our playgroup

Who am I?Which is Which? Who is this 5-month-old cutie?

(Answer at end)

DSC01761For our last playgroup meeting of the summer, just before all the older kids started school again, we met at an indoor playground called Pump It Up. The kids got to play in two giant rooms of space-jump, um, inflatable things. (What DO you call those big thingys?) I think the overall favorite was the enormous, super-fast double slide. Definitely have to plan this place again!

This was one happy, worn-out child. Caroline keeps moving through little stages soooo quickly! For example, there was one week where she said, “What ‘da HECK?” constantly (with lots of enthusiasm! Like – the bathroom needs new toilet paper? “What ‘da HECK?!” It’s bedtime? “What ‘da HECK?!”). Then she moved on to the habit of starting EVERY sentence she utters with, “Just so you know…” Sometimes she loses her train of thought after such an auspicious opening, and we just have to be patient while she sorts it all out. Still easier to deal with than the stuttering!!!

Yeah! For me it's all in the eyes. Katherine and Elizabeth totally identified via eyes!!! Woo hoo!
